- Leave mattresses and box springs uncovered for treatment.
- Inspect Furniture
- Empty all drawers and remove items from surfaces like dressers, nightstands, and desks.
- Move furniture 2-3 feet away from walls to allow access to baseboards and corners.
3. Declutter Affected Areas
- Reduce Clutter
- Minimize items on floors, under beds, and in closets to eliminate hiding places for bed bugs.
- Place items in sealed plastic bags or containers for storage during treatment.
- Dispose of Infested Items
- If you decide to discard infested furniture or items, wrap them in plastic before removing them to prevent spreading bed bugs to other areas.
4. Cleaning and Vacuuming
- Vacuum Thoroughly

- Dispose of vacuum bags or empty the canister into a sealed plastic bag and place it in an outdoor trash can.

- Wipe down walls, baseboards, and other surfaces where bed bugs may hide.
5. Access to the Home

6. Vacate the Property
